In addition to the guesses already made, which I think are all plausible, it could also be Tyler Houston.

So these are all good guesses. Of the lefties on that team, it's not Mark Grace (didn't wear batting gloves), so who among Johnson, Morandini, Rodriguez, etc. wore a foot guard?
