He was good insurance with the uncertainty of Michael Busch. He can be traded to the Yankees for literally anything now.

It's a low bar to clear, but he has been one of the Cubs most consistent hitters (albeit without much slug).  He is a good hitter, just not THE guy to build an offense around.

I believe the yanks have a kid catcher much the same as Ballesteros in the cub org. Great hit tool with a Morel type glove.
