Cristian with 2 more doubles so far today (and his out was a “sharp flyout”). The OPS is up to .874.

And now he homered (his 3rd). The doubles were his 13th and 14th of the season.

OPS up to .895.

Hugs noted?

No one online has mentioned one. But considering the name and lack of roster fit there's a possibility it's a trade.

Tommy Birch, one of closest in covering the Iowa Cubs just reposted Cohen's tweet. Which is interesting...he's usually the first to report an injury. And he seems to be agreeing with Cohen; no obvious reason for the pull.

I'm keeping a bit of an eye here. There just a wee bit of smoke. Might just be a nagging injury or a callup, too.

After his imminent promotion, if he keeps going anywhere near this, he's going to pop back up on a lot of top 100 lists

I'm mostly intrigued to see what the defensive reports will have to say about him.  The Cubs aren't exactly flush with MIF prospects at the moment, and it'd be awesome to find out he could stick at SS long term.

I thought they had been mostly positive, but maybe I'm imagining that
