Steele Back on Monday! And then Kyle is getting another rehab start

I'm a small bit surprised at the aggression with Steele. He had a longer layoff, wasn't particularly sharp in his rehab outing, and his velo was down.  But we've seen from Keegan that's not necessarily proof it will continue if there was an intentional reason, so hopefully with the bright lights and no physical limitations he can pick right back up.

Aww man, I'm going to the game Monday night and was hoping to get Imanaga.  But I guess I can't complain about getting Steele back.

Feels that way. Barring injury, I have a sneaking suspicion this will be the last time we see Matt Mervis in a Chicago Cubs uniform.

Mervis has been terrible.  Some of it is definitely mental, he never looks relaxed.  I still like the physical tools.  But even his swings during this callup have been awful.  He looked fine in ST.

He needs to catch on with a team like the Marlins who isn't playing for anything where he can just get a few hundred continuous at bats.
