Dion needs to work on his defensive schemes. But they really have some talent on the other side of the ball. Kudos to Stanford.

6/14 for 37 yards. IN THE ENTIRE GAME.

What you bitching about, they won. Lol, helluva a game. I felt like I was back in the pre-Chuck Long days. Where is coach Fry?

There are so many good college QBs.  Someone mentioned in the NFL thread that Green Bay would be in mediocre purgatory and not bad enough to draft a top tier QB, but this is a DEEP QB draft.  Penix, McNamara, Jayden Daniels, Bo Nix, Caleb, Shaduer Sanders, Maye, Pratt..,I’m sure I’m missing a few.

Illini kicker looks to be about 34 years old.

Turns 24 Friday... their punter on the other hand turns 31 in January

I spent all week befuddled why ND was favored and assuming SC would win by 3 scores and I guess that's why Vegas keeps building new casinos.

notre dame should be undefeated with this talent in the trenches and at DB

also Lincoln Riley might be a clownfraud

I'm trying not to think too much about the fact that if any of about a dozen things went differently vs Ohio State, ND would be in pretty good CFP position even if that ridiculous loss to Louisville had unfolded exactly the same way.

Also, Louisville lost to horsefeathers Pittsburgh because of course they did.

USC was most recently seen needing triple OT at home to beat Arizona (though Arizona might be decent based on tonight). NDs 2 losses were to number 3 team by a hair, and another undefeated team. Makes sense to me I think given the game was in South Bend.

that said, very difficult to play the transitive game with ND. Almost beat OSU, then lose to Louisville who then loses to Pitt while ND beats USC.  It’s all very confusing

And playing a style of football from the roaring 20s, 1920s

Their schedule is stupid easy. They’ll win 10-11 games. Minnesota, Northwestern, Rutgers,  Illinois, and Nebraska left. Penn State is the only good team in their schedule.

1. ND should not be undefeated. 2. Michigan, OSU, and FSU are clearly the three best teams right now, but until Georgia loses it’s understandable that they are #1.

I don’t care if we win out and celebrate a natty so long as they stay short of 25 ppg and they follow through with non-renewing kid Ferentz’s contract. This is an ass ugly team on that side of the ball.
