Steele just doesn't have it today.  He got hit up pretty good against Milwaukee in his previous start too, though managed to only give up 3 runs.

Edit: Also I'm not following on my phone while I work on something so maybe these are all dink and dunk hits.

Steele gets the 3rd out of the 5th to bring his ERA back down under 3.00 to 2.99.  Yay?

Another stellar Mancini AB

I know he's got some kind of contract guarantee for next year, but at what point do you cut bait?  He has looked cooked all year

Who could have predicted Nico and Happ both turning into pumpkins after signing long term deals?

P.S. I still like Nico, and Happ will probably be fine (albeit boring and without enough power) over the life of his deal.

So...  Let's take a team that is 6 games under .500, get rid of their best pitcher and best hitter (either by trade or through free agency) and then expect to be better next year.  Is that how this works?

When does the seat get warm for Jed? This off-season? End of next season? I always assume Jed and Ross are a package deal.

That is rarely how it works.  Jed is MUCH more at fault than Ross, but he's going to get his opportunity to fire Ross and hire another manager.
