Just looked it up, worse than I thought. Nothing crushed but one was 93 mph and another 90.

xBA were .930, .610, .340, .580

Because (AFAIK) xBA is just a reflection of EV and launch angle, there are some edge cases in looking at it descriptively like this.  Objectively all of those are not good contact and reflect that most of them were off balance and not barreled, but the fact that their placement and launch angle(which from the pitcher's perspective is basically random happenstance)are likely to be a single means the xBA is high.  Process over result, essentially, even though it's an 'expected' stat.

RD for the series down to -1

edit: -2

Nice to be on the opposite side of one of these where in this case we won 2 of 3.

Just got home and fast forwarded through the game, mostly to see how Kyle looked.  I'm not sure what was worse, the Cubs offense or that ad projected onto the pitcher's mound. I'm going to be really annoyed if that is going to be an every game thing now.

Count me as not understanding why we're putting game threads in a place other than the game threads area and then moving it so it shows up as a new post when there's no new posts in the thread.  I'm old and set in my ways and I hate it.

Doesn't make any sense to me either.
