Woof. That Texas aTm offense looks rough.

Thankfully I wasn’t able to watch the game yesterday but our starting QB did go down with an injury early in the first quarter so that had a lot to do with it. But if we want to be a legitimate top 5 team we have to be able to do a lot better even with the backup.

Barry Odom’s defense and that O-line is what’s going to carry them this season. KJ Jefferson is just a so-so QB, and that will cost them down the road against better teams. Im very anxious to see what Hornsby can do.

Well OSU has always gotten the benefit of the doubt with the committee so this checks out.

 

Neither is getting in over an undefeated SEC or Big 12 team. The most likely unbeaten Pac-12 team just went to OSU and won so neither of those two would get in over Oregon. So you’re worried about them getting in over a random Group of 5 team?

I'm just anticipating the type of hand waving we've seen about "well, it was week 1 against a top 5 team!" or whatever. Clemson very likely goes unbeaten the rest of the year, while I'm less worried about OSU, who has looked bad in both games and could likely lose 1 or 2 more games

I do not understand how programs like Florida St and Texas can stay down this long. There’s zero excuse in states with that much HS talent.

I think Texas just needs to quit changing coaches every 2-3 yrs. FSU not so sure what all their issues are, I know the Indiana coach turned them down a couple of years ago. That doesn't sound normal

I saw the same video that continued on for a bit and whoever did the graphics obviously had no faith the play was going to work because the graphics incorrectly showed Florida State was 1-1 and Jacksonville 0-2 after the TD.

Both of their issues are partly due to Saban sucking the talent out of both Florida and Texas.
