I’ve noticed less JD lately. Are these just days off?

I haven't been able to catch much of these west coast games, but I think he didn't make the trip.

I think they’re still calling the games back in Chicago. There is no trip to make.

What an amazing job by the bullpen.

I’ll take a 3-5 West Coast trip any day.

Would you take a 3-4 West Coast trip?

5-1 against the Padres is gong to make the eventual 2 wins total against the D-Backs and Rockies sting just a little more.

Oh good call then I have no idea. We are in graduation season and he's got a couple of older kids?

He probably just hates Ryan Dempster

Yay. I chose to go to 2 games and those were the ones they won. We were even able to sprinkle some ashes on the field for a good friend that died a few years back. Biggest Padres fan I knew.

Not complaining but this is one of the most biased games that I've seen this year

With Higgins behind the plate too, damn. I like how he was billed as being a very good hitter for a backup catcher, but possibly a bit of a disaster behind the plate. Instead he's got great framing numbers (in a minuscule sample) and has hit like he's wearing the Ted Mosby Sensory Deprivation goggles.

No big deal since the Cubs would have won 1.01 to 1 regardless
