Yeah, this sucks. Interesting move for the Chargers who go with a DC to pair with their young QB. I assume he'll take one of the QB coach or pass game coordinator with him to be OC.

 

Daboll looking like the top guy for the Eagles.

 

Houston is a mess with the first coaching fire (or was it Atlanta) and may be the last to hire a coach.

Nick Sirianni is the hire for the Eagles. I believe that leaves only Houston that needs a HC. Sounds like Bienemy in the lead there but they have to wait til KC is eliminated.

 

But if you're scoring at home. Sirianni was Frank Reich's OC. Frank Reich was Doug Pederson's OC. Doug Pederson was fired and replaced by his former OC's OC. Definitely seems like this move was 100% about Wentz over Pederson and wanting someone new in charge of fixing Wentz.

Oh and also JOSH McCOWN! The McCown interview is interesting because he's never been a HC candidate before. He's also never been a coordinator at any level. He has been a QB coach at the high school level.

 

Of course, the reason McCown has never been an NFL coordinator or position coach is because HE'S AN ACTIVE NFL PLAYER ON THE TEXANS ROSTER! He was their 3rd string QB this year, and they interviewed him for their head coaching job.

Texans hiring David Culley as their head coach. Just found out he was the Ravens pass game coordinator.

 

Houston has had a lot of bad PR with their racist owner and their black QB wanting out that they focused on black head coaches. Culley is black (which i also just found out). He's also going to be 66 in like Week 2 of the 2021 season. Never been a coordinator.
