i can't even imagine how frustrated zach must be playing with these guys

 

He really sucked down the stretch though. Took over possessions that led to chucking up bad shots and then missed a layup with seconds left that would have given the Bulls the lead. It was not a super easy layup but it’s one he should have made or drawn the foul

 

he had to take those shots, because there is absolutely nobody else to score, especially when lauri is out. when he plays the more passive playmaker role, they get blown out. ultimately he just can't win because he doesn't have real nba players around him. either he takes tough shots, or he passes it and watch his teammates throw up constant bricks. it's insane how many minutes they have to give to complete scrubs like denzel/temple/gafford. and then there' s coby, who has completely imploded.

I really want to tank one more year at this point. How do we do it without trading Zach? Sure, we’re bottom 5 right now but seems like we can’t count on that going forward. Sorted by point differential were the 12th worst team only. Do we just hope we continue to drop these close games once Lauri and Wendell come back? Trade Lauri and Wendell and anyone else not named Lavine and PWill? I guess moving Thaddeus would help the losing efforts as he’s the one big who contributes consistently on the offensive end.

Trade Young and play White 40 minutes per game. Although, I'm in the minority as far as wanting to trade Lavine.

Trading Thaddeus would help a lot. He's like the 2nd or 3rd best player on this team right now. Plus you should be able to get a late first for him.

I don't think they're going to tank. Maybe they'd still love Young for a pick if they can, but Id bet on Karnisovas also looking to actively fix roster issues. Now maybe he fails at that and accidentally ranks, but I don't see an all out tank scenario.

 

Seems like there's some smoke with Lonzo. If you buy into lack a PG as being one of the Bulls biggest weakness, that might be enough to turn the tide and go the other direction.

This team almost definitely makes the playoffs with Lonzo, and I really don’t think all that highly of him. I just think that little of Coby in his current role and the Eastern Conference.

 

Lonzo’s shooting form LOOKS much better and the results over the last 5 or so games that I bothered to look at are starting to show that. Might be a nice buy low candidate, but I don’t want to trade our first rounder for him as he’s a RFA this summer.

 

Gotta trade Thad for a late first if that’s on the table.

Also stunned Curry and Klay haven’t done that.

Same, thought Curry/Klay/KD would’ve done it or like Harden and Gordon or Ryan Anderson a few years back

Yes, please. The Kira Lewis Jr era in NOLA needs to begin. I know a lot here have mentioned this as a possibility but he’s been a real disappointment for the Pels.
