The AP announced a couple days ago that the B1G will be eligible for the AP poll again next Sunday now that they have a schedule. So things will change pretty significantly.

Houston's game against North Texas has been canceled because UNT couldn't field a team due to 4 positives and contact tracing.

 

Houston has now had 5 games postponed or canceled without playing one, and all 5 were because of the opponent.

Now South Florida vs FAU is off too. Not announced, but it sure looks like ND had some guys who played in that game and tested positive 2 days later, forcing a USF quarantine.

 

Tulsa vs Arkansas State was also postponed.

Looks like it'll be a 7-game season. They'll follow the same format as the B1G where the #2 North team will play the #2 South team and so on the same weekend of the conference title game.

Dude I’m ecstatic. First game of Kiffin’s tenure and we put up 600+ yards on Florida.

 

And ya, as for the uniforms, Kiffin has essentially stated that we are a red and powder team and no longer a red and navy team. So I’m happy with that. There aren’t any other powder and red teams, so it’s good for branding and marketing.

This college football season is making me realize I’m a Big Ten football fan, to a lesser extent keep an eye on the SEC and other than that I don’t care. I keep forgetting there’s college football on Saturdays. I’m not sure why I feel like that. I’ll watch like America East basketball if it’s on tv but couldn’t care less another the other football conferences

I’m pretty much SEC and a I’ll root for a few random teams around the country like Michigan and Penn St (hate tOSU) and UCLA (awesome unis). It would be nice to have some new blood in the CFP.

 

All that said, LOL Big12. The Sun Belt has owned them so far and their bell cow Sooners just choked away a 21 point lead to purple Kansas.

I could hardly be more of a national fan. Don't really pay attention to the Pac-12 mostly because of kids bedtime reasons but I'm all in on everything else.
