Why is Mark Grace part of the announcing on the Cubs games? Have they said?

I thought Grace was relatively enjoyable when he was physically in the booth in Spring Training, but this doesn't seem to be working. It feels way too forced trying to remotely inject him into the conversation during the game.

And haters will start picking it apart, but the pen should get better...it has to. It would be one thing if we were pulling wins out of our ass and had multiple areas we need to improve but we are building big leads and holding on many nights.
