That dismissing the "time change" issue and the fact fact that the Raiders are up 17-0 means they're "better" than the Bears. The better team doesn't always play better/win.

I'm not dismissing any time change, I'm saying the way CHUCKY dealt with it is kicking Nagys ass and Nagy is the reason we are losing today.

I know you're not dismissing the time change, but your question was, "... if the time difference isnt the biggest difference in this game....".

I'm just suggesting that the better team doesn't always play better and/or win.

And I'm wondering how many people b!tching about the time change have ever actually traveled to Europe from Chicago. It's certainly not as brutal as some are making it out to be. It's not like they're playing on the other side of the world.

sure, I've done that time change. but I never had to play an nfl football game 2 days in. I just wandered around foggy for at least 3 - 4 days.

Have you ever traveled over seas and/or competed in a team sport? You are hugely over emphasizing this jet lag thing. It's a media driven plot line to any game outside of the US. In other words, easy sports journalism. The Bears aren't playing badly for a specific reason. They're just playing badly.

Does anyone remember a rushing attempt going longer than 10 yards this year? I know it’s happened but it hasn’t happened often enough at all.

Had a big one against Denver that made the overall numbers look better. Might have been Cordarelle. It’s been brutal. Same with the passing game. Even when not bad (Washington), it has lacked long, explosive plays. Unless you’re Tom Brady, it’s really hard to consistently put together long scoring drives.

That pass to Miller wasn't perfect, but it should have been caught. Don't know why Schlereth can't say that and has to say, "You can't throw it any better or put it in a better place."

Bears score their 6th offensive TD of the year in the 3rd quarter of the 5th game. 2 of those TD drives started inside their opponents 15 yard line.

With this offense, this isn't a super bowl team.

What are you seeing that’s so different than last year? Wouldn’t call them a good offense in 2018 either but they were better than this and to me adequate enough to support an elite defense

It's talent and coaching, but the Bears have one of the least talented offenses in the league. You can't coach your way through that to a Super Bowl or a long playoff run.

You're ignoring a lack of talent.

Robinson, Burton, Cohen, Gabriel, Miller, Montgomery

they have talent; they also have a coach who puts that talent into the worst possible place

Mitch has been bad and so has the OLine, both have regressed. While the defense is good and preventing yards and points, not as many turnovers.

Those players combined are still below average NFL talent. And you don't have a QB and that's the single most important position in pro sports (honorable mention to a hockey goalie).

Bears have bottom third offensive talent.

Whose fault is it for the lack of talent? Obviously Pace has to be at the top of the list. But no way do I believe the talent is this bad on offense. Nagy, his playcalling, and the offensive coaches have to take their share of the blame for this mess.

now see, if you would have said the offensive line makes up for the talent with their crapptastic play, I'd have to concede. but instead, you doubled down on horseshit headedness. good job baseball glove of the 90's

Odd you didn't mention the most important position or anyone on the offensive line.

Fwiw, that list you mentioned is not very talented either.

This is the least talented offense in the division.

The Wilson A2000 is probably the most popular glove in the game today

I didnt ignore them. The line sucks, true. But Trubisky's stuggles can be attributed to Nagys approach with him as much as anything.

and that group has talent, they all would be picked up and start on other teams if let go tomorrow

It's a combo. Nagy is running an offense that relies on misdirections, delayed screens and RPOs, neither work with this line.

Miller stretching his hand out 7 yards short of the first down. A defender could have easily ripped the ball out. Hub and Mannelly talked today about how he's not putting in the work to be a good WR. Not that intelligent either.

Then of course Miller makes a great catch on third down.
