Please back this up with a single piece of actual evidence. If not, at least admit that this is just a pure meatball take.

 

I can’t find a site that shows records “when trailing after __” but we have to have an abysmal record when trailing after 5,6,7 innings in comparison to previous years (yes, I know most means will have a bad record when trailing in the late innings). I could be wrong, but it seems impossible that we have more than 2 or 3 wins when we fall behind in games even through 4 or 5 innings.

A .132 winning percentage when trailing after 5. The NL is .187. The Cardinals are .259. 2018 Cubs were .250.
