Of course, none of the other dumb horsefeathers that happened matters if Brach and Rosario can find the strike zone with a horsefeathering GPS against terrible hitters

Javy not scoring from 2B on that dropped ball and Willy having a miserable AB are both worse than that call on the strike out or not not on Schwarbs there.

I would love to see an angle that shows where Javy was while it was happening. I'm sure I'd have also been pissed had he been thrown out, but wondering how good of a chance it was.

Tough loss. Lots of calls that could have gone either way.

Strike call earlier in the game, but Rizzo should have been out on 3 pitches in the 9th. the Schwarbs' call was close, but the camera down the line showed that his bat crossed the plate

It is funny that Javy turned the single into a double but didn’t blow through a stop sign. I get it that he had to hold up and didn’t see the cutoff throw, so that is 50/50. Guy is on third with one out. You just think you should be able to at least tie it there and not look like you are swinging with a blindfold.

Yeah, I am assuming he just was almost tagging? Because that’s a play I just assume he sees happening and is like 2/3 of the way to 3B and scores easily when it’s dropped.

He fumbled the ball too but made a decent throw home. Baez usually has really good instincts there. Oh well.

I thought Javy would try to score on that ball that was in the dirt and blocked. It’s funny how Javy is so aggressive and almost always successful on the bases to the point where you are disappointed he doesn’t score from 3rd when the ball rolls a few feet away from the catcher.

I was only listening to the radio. Did Kyle go on the third strike?

Yes, right to the umpire while yelling "horsefeathers you!" and slamming his helmet down

anyone theo gives significant money to becomes a black hole
Zobrist got more than Hendricks

That was back when the moves Theo made more often than not turned out good. After he was replaced by a lookalike in June 2017 everything “Theo” does seems to backfire miserably

Everyone thought the mustache "disguise" was sooooooooo cute...

Swing or not, Willy was the big letdown. Dude had a variety of ways to get a run home with the infield in, and he just swung at whatever was thrown.

This is 100 percent correct. Not making any contact at all really changed the tone of that inning.
