The Bears are 3 point road favorites against a 3-2 team that was 15 minutes away from being alone in first in the AFC East yesterday. The Dolphins have lost 2 in a row, both by double digits.

Ryan Tannehill gave the Bengals the game yesterday. He gave up a 2 picks, including a TAINT, lost a fumble and was sacked three times. Miami's O-line is hurting and should give the Bears a lot of opportunities to wreak havoc.

The Bears really should win this game, and solidify their spot at the top of the division, and I will be reporting live from the bowels of joe robbie* stadium

*might not be the stadium's name

Bears 24 Miami 9

I just got back from Florida yesterday, enjoy the smell of the red tide. Although in Miami it probably isn't that bad.

I wonder what the NFL record is for most games played in a season while having the opposing team need to make a QB substitution during the game?

Thru 4, they're at 3.

The 1985 Bears knock a few starters out, that would be my guess

In 1984, the Bears knocked out 2 Raider QBs. Wilson and Humm. Ended Humms career. The ‘84 Bears might be the answer, but the ‘85 game against Detroit is probably the most in one game (3 I believe)

Hipple got nailed as well but the hit on Ferguson was the worst of them all. Marshall is my fav. football player of all-time.

After the 3-1 start, the Bears season is going to come down to beating teams they should beat and not getting embarrassed in the division.

They had the Cleveland game last year, but other than that, the Bears haven't had very many games in the last 4 years where they look like the clearly superior team. I count 5 more on the schedule: Bills, Jets, Giants, SF (without Jimmy G), and Miami. Miami is probably the closest of these teams to the Bears, but they looked bad on paper before the season and have looked bad the last 2 weeks, despite a good start last week. They've beaten the Jets and Raiders, who are among the bottom 5 teams in the league. And they beat Tennessee in a 7-hour rain delayed game at home.

The Bears get 3 of the 5 inferior teams in the next 4 weeks, which means they have a legitimate shot of at least being 6-2 at the halfway point. That would guarantee them 1st place thru 8 games.

If the Bears can win all 5 they should, that's 8 wins. The other 7 games, against teams that are likely contenders, feature 5 home games....with only Thanksgiving and Week 17 on the road in the division.

This does seem like a potential "trap" game though, as the Bears are a rhythm offense that had it's momentum stopped for 2 weeks. Miami has a pretty good secondary and a couple of pass rushers, so I could see the Bears starting off slow offensively. The defense should be able to generate pressure though and eventually force some turnovers to turn the game their way.

Tannehill showed up on the injury report today as limited with a shoulder issue. Could definitely make it 4 this week.
