1. Not everyone dislikes him. The Cubs players seem to love him.

 

2. There is no thinking. He has made a huge difference.

Yeah, it's too bad he's such a chud but it's easy to see what he's doing for the offense.

 

Cole Hamels has been similarly important and at least he seems like a good dude. Two huge acqusitions, definitely feel like they changed the trajectory of the season.

Haven't looked at it enough to know what kind of quality it is, but based on the numbers it looks like /r/chicubs is far bigger than NSBB...755 comments on the game thread yesterday, for example.

years ago we got Len to mention the site on the air, I feel like it was definitely pre-twitter (I'm thinking '05 or '06 season), so I can't remember how we did it but I definitely remember it happening.
