Am I the only person who really thinks almora could've gotten that ball that jeimer hit if he had laid out?

 

He had Schwarber there for backup, and it wasnt smoked like he had to block it or else it was going to the wall, he just pulled up at the end. Set the tigers whole inning up, and that's not even mentioning the bobble after taking the safe play which allowed jeimer to take 2nd.

Kyle was not hit hard at all that inning but he gave up 2 runs. He’s just destined to be that pitcher whose numbers you keep expecting to fall in line with how they are pitching and they never do. Edited by UMFan83

For being a defensive guy Almora really isn’t all that good on defense. I want him the horsefeathers off this team.

pitchers that were good 5-10 years ago is Cubs kryptonite

 

(also ones that are good now)

I’m sure it’s just in my head but during this period of offensive struggle it seems like every single close pitch when the Cubs are hitting goes against us.
