Win turds

But alas it’s raining, I’m nervous of sketchy freaky long necked people and all is lost because the Dodgers spanked us last year and the hangover is too much for the team

Absolute joke that this hasn't been called.

Why? They don't play until 7:10 tomorrow.

I'd still rather not the team arrive in Cincy at 6 AM.

I’d rather them not have to fly to Atlanta on a random Thursday from like Arizona the day before and be on like a 15+ game stretch. They could sleep all morning/day tomorrow in Cincy and not show up to the park until like 4:30.

Yankees stuck at airport overnight, wait out 12-hour delay

There were no five-star hotel stays for the New York Yankees on Wednesday night.

In fact, it was just the opposite for the American League's hottest team.

The Yankees spent the night at Dulles International Airport in Virginia, general manager Brian Cashman said, after their scheduled flight to Kansas City for the start of a weekend series against the Royals was delayed for close to 12 hours. With hotels in the Washington area at near capacity at such a late hour, the Yankees opted to spend the overnight either waiting in the terminal or on the plane itself.

According to Cashman, the flight's delay was caused by several factors, including a mechanical issue with the plane and storms in the D.C. area; both of New York's games against the Nationals on Wednesday weren't completed due to rain.

"It was an unfortunate set of circumstances," Cashman said, according to Newsday.

The Yankees' flight eventually took off at 9:30 a.m. Thursday.

i haven't heard anything about doubleheader plans. does this rainout and the day off Monday mean we can just use the regular starters?

There were rumors Alzolay would make a start Saturday because we needed a guy but we should be good to go Lester Friday, Hendricks/Q Saturday, Darvish Sunday, off day Monday, Chatwood Tuesday, Lester Wednesday, then off day Thursday, so on and so forth.
