Just a quick glance at his career stats and it looks like he has had control problems only in a Cubs uniform. Over a BB/inning since joining the Cubs. Gotta be mental.

That was me who pushed for him. Nobody could have seen this coming but I'll take all the flak for that one, deservedly.

 

I wonder if Houston would have any interest in him. If they have any weakness, it is LHRP, and apparently they can fix just about any pitcher. Maybe there's a match that can be made there.

I looked around the crowd in the 8th inning and saw a few purple coats scattered here and there. On a more diligent survey, I realized that all of the purple coats were stadium attendants. It was probably 90% Cub fans by the 9th inning. No joke.
