I feel like Duke's evil sorcery works in reverse with teams other than the Cubs, so that when he praises them, even sarcastically, it actually ends up helping them.

Duke, what I'm trying to say is that maybe you better shut the flunk up.

Actually, he calls them frauds all the time. So, that's not it.

There's a major league baseball player for the Tigers named Blaine Hardy and he's got a no hitter through 6 against the A's.

More surprising, the A's pitcher has a 2 hitter though 6 and that pitcher is Brett Anderson (yes that Brett Anderson)

I saw Brett Anderson earlier this season sitting in the stands charting pitches on a clipboard in street clothes when the A's Triple-A team was playing Iowa. He looked kinda miserable. I didn't realize he had a handful of MLB starts this season.

They're such frauds that even my reverse sorcery only gets them up to second place every year. Frauds.

Brewers are back to the games where they get 5 runs on 4 hits. They say the Cubs are lucky on the brewerfan site.

horsefeathers Wade Davis, we were always right to hate him

I was saying we shouldn't try to re-sign Wade Davis and that I was worried about his performance in the second-half of last season. There were a lot of ppl here who wanted the Cubs to re-sign him. We got lucky because this Cubs' FO was interested in bringing him back at the right cost before moving on to Brandon Morrow.

He's toast and looks awful. Ottavino should be the Closer in Colorado if they had any common sense about how to preserve leads. Then again maybe Wade Davis blows it before they even get to the 9th inning...

Not going to have to worry about Wade Davis blowing today’s game at least. Brewers up 6-0 in the 1st.

Freddy Peralta’s 5+ BB/9 and 90-92 MPH dick shot FBs is plenty capable of letting the Rockies back in this
