The whole "my thread has a direct effect on the outcome of the game" thing is fun to screw around with, but if you are using it to dictate who hosts a thread, then I start to wonder about your sanity. I guess the whole thing is silly anyhow, so whatever.

How was it done before? Starting over? New list? Just keep it going?

More importantly, how was it done in 2016?

In the past I believe it was based on regular season record.

I have no idea how we came about that order. Definitely not based on regular season records.

looks like that was the post that kept getting updated, so Logan started the playoffs with an absolute Cy Young caliber regular season

Wait, then why did Butters and tree lead it off?

they didn't.

the post was edited later, so the current/upcoming starters were at the top and the guys who started the playoffs were at the bottom, which I bolded.

Thanks. Wish we could have ridden a few more streaks. Those records are pretty ugly!

W-L for game thread starters is stupid. You may have a nice "record" but the underlying peripherals showed you were doing it with nothing smoke and mirrors.

also we make this dumb stat so important but when you really look at why should the game thread starter get all the credit for the win? sure that poster started the thread, but it is the players who do all the catching and throwing hitting and such. perhaps some of the credit should go to them.
