Yeah there was something. He’s really good friends with one of their owners, Larsay or something like that and I think the story is he kinda got himself fired or quit from the Nets on purpose to go to the Bucks then when he got in that owner basically gave him autonomy for controlling everything behind whoever the GM at the time was back and he had those powers taken away in the past year.

You and every team in the league but yeah agree on all that. iirc Giannis made some ominous quotes this summer about leaving in free agency when his contract is up in 3-4 years.

Kevin Love broke his hand tonight and is out 6-8 weeks. 8 weeks puts us about 10 days-2 weeks away from the start of the playoffs (so maybe 5 games at most before the playoffs he'd have to get back in the swing of things if it's closer to 8 than 6 weeks.). The Cavs essentially have no chance at a top 2 seed anymore and 3 losses separates them at the 3 seed and the 8 seed. It's crazy to think but if Lebron won't guarantee them he's re-signing with them next year (he won't) they really should do whatever they can to get him to waive his NTC and get some assets. I don't see a way that team wins the championship this year.

Agree, like I said a few posts up... If he won't guarantee he's staying tell him to give you a list of 2-5 teams he'd waive his NTC to go to, there isn't a move out there to help them this year and it's not worth trading the Brooklyn pick for like Kemba Walker if he won't guarantee he's staying.
