I understand ones where Javy is off for a millisecond being kinda horsefeathers, but that was a blatant overslide.

I don't really mind it. A guy is technically out when they do that and offense isn't really an issue in baseball right now anyways. I doubt THAT much offense is being killed by plays like that.

I apply my hate for it evenly. Once the runner touches the base safely, he's got a zone that extends 1 foot above and 2 feet around the base and as long as he's got some part of his body in it, he's safe. Thats how I would fix it. The size of the zone may have to change and a time limit may have to be added to it, but i think the concept works.
