I'm a moron but I never mind being aggressive sending a runner with 2 outs and the bottom of the order due up, unless the OF has a notably good arm. I have no idea if Pham's arm is good, but if its average or below average, there's always a chance of a bad throw.

yeah, i didn't get to see the play, but i'm always in favor of the aggressive send with 2 outs and forcing them to make the throws and the tag...obviously, even more-so if a crappy hitter is up next.
