Are you mad at a hurricane?

Man, this has taken your weather vendetta to new extremes.

When this has happened previously they've moved these games to neutral ground...I think that's the bone of contention here.

That's how Zambrano ended up with a no-no against the Astros in Milwaukee.

Not always though, I'm pretty sure there have been instances of teams playing at the road teams ballpark as the home team. I'm sure if there was a way for the games to be played at a neutral site they would have. Unless there's a deep conspiracy within the commissioner's office to give the Brewers these games at home as payback for the Cubs switching the time of a game and raining another out even though it didnt rain.

Either way, it won't matter. Let them have 3 extra home games. Although if you want to be fair, feel free to move the Rays series next week to Wrigley

and it's mke. There's a decent chance the 10 cubs fans there will outnumber the brewers fans.

They haven't always done that.

There was going to be a home team in the series anyway, so it's really not a big deal that that gets flipped because of extraordinary circumstances.

Due to the brief lead time, staffing levels for concessions, guest services and other logistics will restrict seating capacities at Miller Park for the three games. For Friday, only Field Level tickets will be available for purchase — a capacity of approximately 10,000 tickets. For the Saturday and Sunday games, the capacity will increase to approximately 23,000 with staffing for those two games extended into the Loge Level.

I know that in 2004 the Marlins played a DH at Wrigley to make up for a game that was wiped out by Hurricane Frances (they also played a game against the Expos at the Cell).

Yes, I'm clearly mad at the hurricane and not the ridiculous decision by MLB.

As recently as a few weeks ago, Texas vs. Houston was moved to Tampa.

Because a hurricane hit Texas.

The Rangers stadium was fine, and the Rangers offered as much. The Astros wanted it count as their road game and have the Rangers come to Houston late in the year when they were scheduled as home. They split the baby and left the state

Yeah, that's what they settled on; the Marlins apparently don't have a problem going to Milwaukee. Oh well.

The politics have changed without their owners buddy in the commissioners office but the White Sox hosted for the Marlins in 04 when they were hurricaned out and are on the road this weekend(and obviously not a far trek for Milwaukee.) If Selig was still in charge this setup would be getting a lot more questions

the marlins are in the process of having the league approve a sale. They'll do as they are told.

Yes, I'm sure the Marlins would be in real danger of having their Jeets-branded sale scuttled if they pushed back against what I guess is MLB's inexplicable goal to appease the vaunted Brewers because of...reasons.

More a matter of do they care enough to actually raise a stink over this. Did anyone think the Brewers weren't going to take 2 of 3 in this series?
