That's more like it. Now let's get another one as the Crosstown Classic moves south into whatever a Guaranteed Rate Field is.

Going for the White Sox will be James Shields, a man who is pretty much a shell of what he was in TB and KC. Mr. Shields has allowed an embarrassing 12 dongs in just 46 IP this season after allowing a similarly laughable 31 dongs in 114 IP with the Sox last year. Here is James blowing a very impressive bubble, but unfortunately it's about as big as his fastball looks to opposing hitters these days.

On the mound for the Cubs is the man himself, Jake Arrieta. Mr. Arrieta also isn't quite the pitcher he was in 2015 or even last year, but he's still a solid starter and we love him. Here he is not being lazy, which is more than we can say for James and the Giant Bubble.

There will be dongs.

KB being completely baffled by the corpse of James Shields is one of the many curiosities of baseball. He will dong him tomorrow on a dead fish changeup

Edit: I should've added it would be in the 3rd inning with the Cubs already up 7-0 or something because it would be leverage free and a meaningless dong.

i was gonna say shields was going to strike out kb like all 4 times we go through the order in his 3 innings

Rotation has a 2.48 ERA in 2nd half. The first inning ERA is even better.

And over Jake's last 12 starts, he has a 3.25 with 4 FIP which isn't great but much better than early on.

Feeling really good about shutting these ho's down.

For the ABC broadcast are we getting Len and JD or that horsefeathering meatball Hawk? Might have to deal with ESPN.

MLB TV lists WLS as their CHC feed for the game, so you may be lucky

Three networks tonight. Len and JD have ABC, Hawk has CSN, and then ESPN. Needless to say I intentionally left CSN off the thread title.

HA! Thanks, I might switch over to Hawk if the Cubs are up 10-0 or something.

I actually moved to Austin about a year ago and didn't watch much ABC news when I lived in Chicagoland.
