At this point in the season, you have enough of a sample to play the guys who are producing in this year. Montero has been a top 4 hitter on the team.

 

And a lot of people have had issues with Happ still being in Chicago. The reality is, he has raked RHP (126 wRC), and his 32% K rate against them is not too troublesome, more than offset by the power provided.

It's not enough to push him out of lineup consideration. There's several top 60 hitters this year with K rates around 30%.

 

Were people hollering for Bryant and Schwarber to be demoted when they were rocking 30% K rates in 2015?
