CHC @ COL – Scattered showers in the forecast, with the NWS putting an 80% chance of rain through the afternoon. The good news is that the rain will be fairly light during gametime hours, increasing in intensity and coverage this evening. I think they will probably just have to play through spotty rain, because delaying to wait for a perfectly dry game will likely mean trouble, as the weather only gets worse with time.

Well Heyward is on the DL, Joe prefers Jay in the lineup against righties, and Schwarber should probably be in the lineup with Rizzo sitting. This could have been a good game to get Almora a shot against a RHP, at the very worst sacrificing offense for defense, but its defensible.

Also, Schwarber/Jay/Bryant is a fair bit better than Schwarber/Jay/Zobrist, which I'm pretty sure we've used at least a time or two.
