ESPN posted an article projecting every team's starting lineups, and the Bears was a pile of corn-riddled poop

and they signed the corn undrafted despite it getting a 6th round grade.

NFL relaxing TD celebration rules.

Any sexually suggestive celebration or mimicking violence/weapons still a penalty/fined.

Team celebrations, ball celebrations, snow angels, okay.

this is good

Should refund all the players they raped for having a little fun

don't use raped like that

Using it as was originally intended... but fine. Not worth arguing over. My apologies if you were offended. I edited it.

This feels like that offseason we signed Marty Booker and Brandon Lloyd to go with an already uninspiring group of WRs. Keep signing retreads and hope they form some semblance of a decent group of WRs.

I mean it might work out. Kevin White, Kendall Wright, Victor Cruz, Markus Wheaton, Rueben Randle, Cameron Meredith, Josh Bellamy. If by some miracle White stays healthy and develops like a #1, having Wright in the slot, and some combo of Cruz/Wheaton/Randle/Meredith as the #2 and #3 outside WRs could actually be pretty good.

Absolutely.

You have to give Glennon something in his one and only year.

at this point i'd trust meredith to possibly resemble a 1 more than i would white.

That's true...I forgot he was actually pretty decent the 2nd half of last year when no one was paying attention. I still think White has the highest ceiling for a #1. He's only played 4 NFL games, so hopefully he can stay on the field and show us something.

I'm not sure he still has that ceiling. You don't miss that much time to multiple injuries without it actually knocking down a significant portion of your ability.

He has missed a ton of reps and the mental game is way behind the already-stunted physical development. I could see a year similar to Meredith last year but that's definitely in the high range of possibilities. Probably something like 50 catches and 700 yards.

This is weird

why?

The Bears are short of bodies on offense. They don't have a legit WR core and they signed a veteran who has been good most of the time to a 1-year deal. That's normal NFL team behavior.

what's weird about it?

it's just a standard flyer on a guy who used to be good.

Mad Dog must have said it.
