Try this one on for size. Spring of 2006. Nick Saban is still the coach for the Dolphins. He needs a QB and so he brings in Drew Brees and Dante Culpepper for workouts. He goes with Culpepper and the Dolphins go 6-10 and Saban quits and goes to Bama. Let's just say he chose Drew Brees. Saban might still be the coach of the Dolphins. There is no Bama resurgence. There is no New Orleans Saints Super Bowl, which means that the Saints are likely the San Antonio Saints. Oh, and without Bama in the way, Houston freaking Nutt may have won back to back SEC Championships at Ole Miss in 07 and 08 and is probably still their coach.
