Not directed at you, but I had just assumed that this narrative would have died with us getting to the World Series. It has not. That makes me disappointed.

 

It's not a choke job. It's the Indians doing what they've done all post season, and we don't have any more of an answer than the Red Sox or Blue Jays.

Baez at 2nd has the luxury of being able to get his body 'outside' of the throw, so he can use the throw to move towards the hitter. Bryant catching a pickoff throw at 3rd as a righty has to move the glove across his body no matter what.

 

Also, yes, Baez is that fast.

I like to chalk it up to that. You have to think these guys will get better and not play like dogs!t in big situations as they gain more experience. But it's so frustrating because we know there might not be a next year.

 

As for the managing part deckchairs. This team is hitting like garbage off and on the entire playoffs.

He helped get us to the World Series. That was worth Gleyber.

 

The Cubs making it to the World Series isn't as good as winning the World Series, but it does so much to change the franchise going forward.
