I was really hoping for an all righty lineup sans rizzo.

I'm kinda tired of seeing our lefties struggle against their lefty pitchers.

Wanted Contreras and either soler or almora in right.

Is there a lineup posted?

My guess is:

Fowler

Bryant

Rizzo

Soler

Zobrist

Baez

Russell

Montero

Arrieta

Yeah, my brother and I are going to Game 6 if there is one. Before the series we were trying to decide on Game 1 or holding out for Game 6. We agree that best case scenario if there is a Game 6 is that Kershaw pitched Game 5 to save their season.

I could see Montero actually doing okay against Hill, could easily see him flipping 1-2 of those looping curves oppo over Seager's head into LCF.

Is it just me or is Montero pulling the ball for power a lot more since his Big Papi adjustments?

His IsoP is definitely way up since he made that adjustment(.261 in September, his best since last August and 3rd best month ever), but his batted balls don't show much more being hit pull side. Maybe the stuff he's pulling is more successful though, I don't have the granularity to see that.

Looks like a winner

Don't love Soler being in RF with so many lefties and their pull side, but whatever. Jake is gonna run train on these fucks

I think the Soler fielding fears are a bit over the top. I mean, he's no Heyward, but it's not like he can't catch a ball. He has has Fowler next to him, and Baez in front of him. He'll be fine.

Yeah I'm not sure why Soler wouldn't play LF with all the Dodger lefties. That said, from what I've seen so far in the series, they don't seem to have a lot of pull hitters, I can't remember too many balls fielded by Heyward. In fact doing a quick look through the Game 2 PBP I didn't see any plays to RF.

YIIIIKES

ok, i take it back, people ARE overstating the soler in the OF thing (which is hard to do)

Yeah it's not like he can't catch. He can't make the Heyward diving/sliding plays and has less range but he makes most plays he should and he also has a really great arm. It's not like he's Braun at 3B bad in RF, where he can't even make routine plays.

My plan is to talk about how terrible he is until game time and then when he shows up for the first time in 7 weeks and hits a big HR and doesn't cost us by being a folding chair with a glove on the seat in RF, so everyone can quote my posts ripping on him and call me an idiot.
