The Cubs begin their final home series of the regular season against a team that is desperately clinging to its playoff life. So we should probably expect the Cardinals to pull out all the stops beginning Friday when they start.....wait Mike Leake?!?!

Leake's shoplifting shenanigans might be forgotten by most, but not me. Who the hell shoplifts from Macy's, seriously?

 

Anyways, the Cubs have faced Leake 3 times this year has given up a total of 11 runs in those 3 starts.

 

The NL Central Champions will be led by Mr. Jake Arrieta, reigning Cy Young winner. And yes he is now apparently throwing his devastating slider again. So let me get this straight, there's 2 weeks until the playoffs start and Heyward and Miggy are both hitting and there's a chance we might see God Mode Jake in the playoffs? Haha good luck to the other baseball squadrons in their attempt to out-baseball the mighty Cubs.

Yes, exactly. I can tell Strop was very critical of Steve Clevenger's tweets and his own views on BLM have been reasonable and appropriate. He is a necessary addition to the bullpen to keep them in tact

anyone want four pretty good seats to this game for face value ($65 ea)?

 

ok guys rather than see these go unused i'm offering them up on the price of on the house. if i could leave work early, i'd be using em, but i can't today.
