btw, I like that Ross is catching tonight. Contreras has otherwise been very good defensively, but he's struggled catching Arrieta; costing him strikes, wild pitches, results, etc. I'd rather Ross catch Arrieta in the playoffs, then work with Willson next spring.

 

They Heyward/Javy/Ross/Pitcher bottom of the order will suck, but we'll just prevent all of the runs.

I know this will never happen consistently, at least vs righties, but if we want to keep elite defense in RF, just put Almora out there. He can at least mix in a few line drives and OPS over .650 (probably).
