Moving on, the Giants try to stymie this roll the Cubs are on by chucking Albert Suarez out on the mound this afternoon. He has looked... not so good. Low K's, not a low WHIP, not a low ERA. This guy had better not make it through the 4th. And we saw yesterday that Bochy isn't some sort of bullpen guru. Also, he looks like a cantankerous old bastard. Watch him walk to the mound today. Scary.

The Cubs counter with Jon Lester. He has been rock solid this year, and if it wasn't for the Cubs having an absurd pitching staff with Arrieta and Hendricks both deciding to turn in incredible performances, I bet Lester would be getting some talk about maybe being top 5 for the Cy Young.

 

Anyways, the guy is a badass, he doesn't care who you are, he's just gonna mow you down.
