We'll have a 7 game lead over the Nats for the #1 seed if this lead holds. We're pretty much to the point where there's no reason to scoreboard watch, not even for positioning.

100+ wins would still be pretty cool to get though

106 is the number I'm hoping for. One better than the 04 Cards and most in the NL since the 98 Braves also won 106.

But anything over 100 would be amazing. 101 would be better than anything other than the 1906-1910 Cubs.

1935 is the last time Cubs won 100 at a quick glance. That'd be a really cool number.

This is like B- Jake and he's faced 21 hitters through 7.

well he's facing an F lineup in a pitchers park

so what are some weird stuff you want to see in random September games. I think mine would be Scissors hitting clean up.

Oh just thought, how about Javy playing all 9 positions.

We are a bullpen of doom away from winning like what 25 of our last 27.

Bullpen lost game 1 vs white sox, a game against the mariners, two against the cards and one against the rockies.

The only two losses tbat werent bullpen losses if I remember right was the 2nd game in the sox series & the coors field blowup the other day.

Just put LaStella out there by himself for a game to play 1 vs 9 as punishment for his dissent

Shortstops age 22 or younger with 20+ HRs in a season:

ARod 3 times (42, 36, 23)

Ripken 2 times (28, 27)

Tulo (24)

Vern Stephens (22)

Ron Hansen (22)

Carlos Correa (22), though he's at 18 right now

Corey Seager (22)

Lindor's at 14 so he could get there, though he'd have to have a great last 40 games to do it. So one more HR and Addison will be only the 8th shortstop age 22 or younger to get 20 HRs in a season.

Holy horsefeathers, ARod
