Most good teams play a long chunk of the season at .500. The Cubs have played 33-32 baseball over the last 65 games. Most likely they will go on another run at some point and everything will be good again

We're 6-3 in our last 9 games and a good chunk of those were against good teams and people keep acting really weird because a pitcher struggled in the first inning which happens a lot. Some people aren't really cut out for this sport.

It's frustrating to watch a bad game, but even more frustrating to watch a boring bad game right after a boring bad game the night before. I know they're a very good team, but I'd enjoy a romping of a shitty team when it's a lazy weekend afternoon and I can actually watch the game.
