Gleyber now 4-4, with 2 doubles and a triple. Extra base hit to all fields.

Ended up 4-5 with a BB and a K. Not too shabby

Vogelbach is 4-5 with a homer.

Hopefully every team we are talking trades with had their finest scouts in attendance to watch that fat horsefeathers dong

Hopefully it was a 500-foot dong and Cashman is ready to proclaim him as a future 60-home run hitter in Yankee Stadium.

Blackburn goes 6 2 1 0 3 7. I doubt its with us, but I think he's got a decent major league career ahead of him. Tseng too, for that matter.

Dakota Mekkes, basically a college Edwards Jr. as far as his periphs, made his pro debut with 2 Ks in a clean inning.

de la Cruz finished with 4 IP / 7 Ks / 1 BB / 2 H / 1 R

Pretty excited that De La Cruz is already up in the NWL after just one start in the AZL. I figured he'd be in Arizona for a few starts. Hopefully just a few starts before he's in the MWL.

Wow, that Cease news is huge relief. My perspective can flip pretty fast. Not many days I kind of assumed that DelaCruz was cooked, and Cease too. Suddenly within a week, and especially after yesterday, De la Cruz is suddenly exciting again, and Cease as well.

Potentially almost like having two top-10 prospects come back to life within a week or 24 hours! :)

Mekkes was the guy with the crazy K rates in college, right? And also apparently has a funky/deceptive delivery?

Yes that's that the guy.

Blackburn's Rule 5 eligible in the winter, and I could see somebody taking him for an audition.
