why does Maddon refuse to use Richard with big leads? up 7-1 , it would be nice to use are others arms in the pen besides Strop. No point in caring 7-8 relivers if you not going to get them work. Even now warming up Rondon is wasting bullets for later in the year.

Strop had thrown 1 pitch since Wednesday, letting him face one hitter to stay sharp is a good compromise to me.
