horsefeathers, that's the first run Concepción has given up in a long time. And yeah, Edwards is ready. Its possible he'd eliminate our need for any pen help, even if he's not a lefty.

 

What's Concepción's velo doing? I guess its not out of the realm he could fill the lefty role too.....

The dongless prospects aren't as fun, or as good, for that matter, especially as a corner outfielder. But Mark Zagunis is now hitting .295/.410/.417 after doubling twice in his first two ABs tonight.

oh yeah, and four walks and five extra base hits (2 HR) during that same span of PA's.

 

I can't wait until 2-3 years from now when the 2nd wave comes up and the fans of other teams are like "wtf how is this still happening! Make it stop!"

The second wave is now. Contreras/Almora/Edwards would be pretty exciting to quite a few teams.
