What a hilariously entertaining trainwreck of an offseason. Nobody has any clue what they're doing.

That's the best part! At least it's the entertaining kind of terrible.

What I did NOT want to see was GarPax try to tank and rebuild our team through the draft. Mostly because of how bad we are at choosing the correct players. If it weren't for the one-in-a-million-chance #1 pick that we used to draft Rose, and the random emergence of Jimmy Butler as a max player, where would we be? We spent years and years at the bottom of the league, trying helplessly to become competitive again by drafting people like Eddy Curry, Tyson Chander, Marquis Teague, etc.

I would so much rather watch the Bulls get knocked out of the playoffs by Lebron every year, while Wade crumbles to dust before our very eyes and retires as a Bull.

Yeah, but the season itself is gonna suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. Wade's just a boring old turd who is going to miss a ton of games.

as silly as I think they are, the Bulls front office may have backed into a masterstroke. They have room for 2 max deals next year I think if they dump rondo. They could make a move for Heyward or Westbrook.

Rebuilding would have gotten them nowhere and wasted prime years of our current franchise player in Jimmy. They also kept Taj which we badly need for rebounding. Lopez can rebound and defend and is a solid NBA starter. The front court is weak but still the team is maybe the 2nd or 3rd best in the east.

If the cavs get injured again in the playoffs who knows the bulls could do some real damage.

Main issue here is the coach is a jackass I wish anybody else was coaching.

Only one max now.

The complaint about drafting is weird, especially when two of the three examples were Krause picks. The Bulls have been a very good drafting team in the Paxson era.

No, the main issue is the fact that we have absolutely no long range shooting, and two big lumbering big men down low. As someone mentioned earlier, our roster is now pretty much the opposite of what the rest of the NBA is doing. That could be beneficial at times, I'm not sure. It's definitely gonna be interesting to watch these guys play together.

The Bulls are going to be like the anti-Golden State Warriors and it's going to be so awful. Rondo/Wade/Butler/Taj. Ugh 85 points a game.

We signed a point guard whose only real positive attribute is running transition offense and surrounded him with old, slow guys.

Dat Big 3 Doe!

Rondo, Wade, Butler

All of whom dominate the ball and none of whom are 3 point shooters. Perfect fit for Hoiball lol.

It'll be interesting though. Square peg, round hole. If it blows up, Forman and Hoiberg go away probably. If it works on any level, having space for 2 maxes next year could conceivably be fun.

butler isn't exactly a bad 3 point shooter btw...just isn't a great one. he's good. wade and rondo, on the other hand... but wade has at least never had a PER lower than 20 in his career. he still knows how to be efficient.
