It could have been Bryce harper and there's a 60% chance of not scoring. Why are you so shocked?

 

Cuz we're the Cubs and we got a walk, HBP and an error in the same inning and usually that leads to a big inning for us. That part of it really had nothing to do with Soler. He's just been frustrating as hell so I threw that in there.

I'd still be in favor of sending him to AAA and letting him get some ABs and hopefully get his confidence back. I understand the roster crunch right now but getting Soler right is much more important to the franchise going forward than a month of having Kalish getting his ABs.

Of course the intelligent thing to do is evaluate the player over time, but individual moments do stick in the memory of people.
