I remember when I used to hit this thread before the Cubs game threads. Like, two years ago.

What's the hope for Zastryzny at this point? Maybe a LOOGY?

A solid reliever would be nice. FYI, he has better splits against righties than lefties according to BR the past three seasons.

Carl Edwards Jr. with 3 K's in 1 inning of work. 1 hit and no walks. That's his fourth consecutive appearance that he hasn't allowed a walk.

His last four appearances: 4.1IP 2H 0ER 0BB 8K

Jen-Ho Tseng to the Tennessee DL, David Berg promoted from Myrtle Beach to Tennessee.

According to BP, Berg has an 82% GB% this year, after being at 83% in Eugene and 73% in Myrtle Beach last year.

Perhaps I'm just trying to find a silver lining ... but it's good to see that Edwards hasn't walked anyone in 4 straight outings. I can live with the occasional wild game from a guy out of the pen if he's largely consistent the rest of the time and has the plus stuff to get away with some issues.

On a side note, whenever I see Patton in an Iowa box score, I find myself double checking that it's not David.
