every time i see a cancer awareness thing in regards to something baseball i think back to the glendon rusch "strike out cancer" thing. when cancer bangs a double off the wall.

 

was that word up thome? or something else? someone here has to remember what i'm talking about right?

I'm starting to wonder how much of Javys power went away due to reworking his swing to be less violent.

 

1 HR in 95 PA between this year and last year. 2 in 110 PA if you include playoffs.

 

I wish I had that article from 2014 that explained how his terrific power was because of the violent swing, but because it was so fast he couldn't control his bat in the zone. By slowing down the swing some it could allow him more control over his swing but would significantly zap his power.
