Heyward's hit several balls hard this series, he just hasn't had any luck. As has been well documented, he's also a slow starter and is always terrible at the plate for the first few weeks of a season. He'll start hitting to go with his defense soon.

Heyward's hit several balls hard this series, he just hasn't had any luck. As has been well documented, he's also a slow starter and is always terrible at the plate for the first few weeks of a season. He'll start hitting to go with his defense soon.

 

The best part is Heyward was only signed to be a complimentary piece on offense. His slow start wouldn't be quite as frustrating for people if the big guys weren't almost as cold as him.

 

In the meantime, J-Hey still finds a way to have a winning impact almost every game.
