If we were going to go 1-1 in playoff series against St Louis over the last several months the last several months, the right Chicago team won. Oh well.

Congrats to the blues on making it to the 2nd round. Anyone know when the parade is going to take place?

Guess it was my years in STL rooting for the Blues when the Hawks were horsefeathers. But I'm inclined to tip my cap and root for them going forward.

heartbreaking, but at least they showed fight and gave us a little magic.

as for st. louis, horsefeathers them. it's time for sharpie and oduya to ease our pain a little.

Yes, the clear silver lining in all this is we get to root for the Stars now

yeah like im not distraught, but im bummed. wish it wasnt to the blues, but whatever. easier to swallow when you win 3 cups in the last 6 years and the cubs are the best team in baseball.

it'll actually be kind of nice not having 3 OT games that last til 2 am on tuesday nights this year

That's the thing. Them losing doesn't piss me off. Losing to horsefeathering St Louis does.

You don't live here anymore and they're being insufferable. There's no way I'm rooting for them. The only thing tempering it for me is knowing how I felt last October when the Cubs took out the Cards, so I'm mostly keeping my mouth shut.

Right and the defensive response I've heard from Hawks fans today is "oh well we still have 6 cups to your none and we all know you will choke this away next round."

Which as we know is pretty much the exact thing we heard from Cardinals fans last October.

I'm definitely rooting for the Stars at this point. The ex-Blackhawk factor makes it too natural.

Same here. Plus I have friends here who are Stars fans so I wouldn't mind seeing them have some fun.
