i suppose they might be playing a 5 with James in the middle of loftus-cheek at WB (or vice versa? he's used loftus-cheek as a progressive CB a couple times, though never in a game of this magnitude.

I was surprised by Tuchel's defeatist comments. Honestly, stop Vini and you can beat RM. Benzema is a fantastic finisher but Vini is the dangerman. They aren't that good.

i havent watched a ton of real but that was my take after the first leg. Benzema had two nice headed goals and then pounced on a gruesome error for this third goal, but Vini was terrifying the entire match

no one talks about it, but his cross for Benzema's first was ridiculous. I think you can over-run the RM midfield (Barca certainly did). They are great but really old and slow.
