I guess I just didn't consider $800k and 1 year to be an enormous difference. In my head, I was thinking, "Wow, we could have had Motte, and we chose Cahill".

I remember Motte having some decent moments and some not so decent moments. I liked him as a low risk reclamation. And I've had taken him back on another 1 year. But there's nothing about him that makes me lament the loss.
